The year-end tournament will consist of a Round Robin, seven-game format to determine 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.

The guidelines are as follows:

  • 5 innings per game (see below for rule if tie exists after 5 innings)

  • unlimited runs allowed in the last inning for each game

  • game defaulted: 2 points plus 3 runs awarded to the winning team

  • international rules apply in the event of a tie after 5 innings

  • 2 points for a win, 0 points for a loss

Note:

  • at the end of the Round Robin, should a tie exist between two or more teams, the team that won the matchup between those two teams will be the winner

  • should a tie exist between three or more teams, and the winning team not clearly determined based on the above rule, the team with the most runs scored at the end of the 4th inning will be the winner

GOLD BAR TOURNAMENT RULES

Tournament Rules will consist of all Gold Bar Mixed Slo-pitch rules plus the following tournament rules:

  1. Players must have participated in at least 10 seasonal games in order to qualify in the tournament. No exceptions.

  2. One ball will be requested by the ump from each team during each game.

  3. Professional umpires will be used during the tournament.

  4. The Captain of the team will be the only player who has the authority to question a call made by the umpire. (The question must be raised immediately following the play.)

  5. A coin will be flipped just before the start of the game, the winner to decide who gets the field first.

  6. The seven-run rule (maximum of 7 runs/inning) will apply to all innings except the final inning. Unlimited runs are allowed in the last inning.

  7. The batting order will be made up prior to the start of the game and will remain in that same order throughout the game. (No alterations to a batting order during that game unless the player is injured.)

  8. If the batting order has been altered in any way, without first consulting the other team representative, that player is out.

  9. There is no limit to the number of times a player can re-enter a position on the field.

  10. In the event that a team drops out before the tournament, each opposing team will be awarded two points and three runs.

  11. An individual must play at least two innings on the field during a game if he/she is listed on the batters list. No pinch hitters are allowed.

  12. To speed up the game after completion of first inning of play, the pitcher will be the only player on the field that will be allowed to warm-up.
